Children play instruments, learn finger plays, listen to the sounds of the world around them, move to music, sing along, and enjoy music & movement story time. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming and object identification help foster language skills. Creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking activities encourage blossoming social skills.
Kindermusik Our Time focuses on your toddler’s healthy emotional development as confidence, curiosity, self-control and communication begin to take shape. Recognizing a child's need for the freedom to try new experiences and the assurance of your support, Our Time encourages discovery with you at the center of each
adventure.
Each semester of Our Time features a different theme designed to engage you and your child in delightful musical adventures, with each curriculum providing home materials: a musical instrument, 2 CDs, 2 literatures books and a home activity book to enhance and complement the activities in class.
