In his first 18 months, your baby's brain develops rapidly, his bond to you strengthens - his total development is ready for nurture. Research tells us babies respond naturally to music and to a parent's voice - you may notice reactions when you sing a rhyme or hum a lullaby.
Kindermusik Village provides the natural learning your child is ready for from the first days of life. With you at the center of his discovery, Village engages all his senses and rewards his curiosity with object and instrument exploration, vocal play, singing, creative movement, and a colorful literature component. Multi-level activities encourage you to make creative choices as he grows from a lap baby to a crawler to a walker!
Kindermusik Foundations of Learning shared in class show you how the activities you share with your child foster his unique development. Village opens new windows to show your baby more about the world and to show you more about your baby. Several Village curricula include sign language (baby signs) to aid in communicating with your baby during the pre-verbal stages of development.
Each semester of Kindermusik Village features home materials to reinforce the weekly class activities at home. They include CDs, colorful board books, art banners, a baby home journal and a carry case in which to store everything. Themes for each Unit (2 per semester) include Feathers, Do-Si-Do, Hickory-dickory Tickle and Bounce, Rhythm of My Day, Dream Pillow, Zoom Buggy Dew Drops and Cock-a-doodle Moo!
