Listen as your child astonishes you with his newfound ability to create musical compositions. For your budding musician, Kindermusik for the Young Child provides a pressure-free, developmentally appropriate transition where he can musically succeed before taking on more formal instruction. Using a small-group approach to music education, Kindermusik provides the opportunity to explore voice development, rhythm, notation, musical symbols and authentic pre-keyboard, string and woodwind instruments: the glockenspiel, the dulcimer and the recorder.

Young Child is divided into 4 sequential semesters. In addition to these beautiful melodic instruments, Home materials include the child’s Music Folder, Game Bag, Family Songbook and Home CDs. Learning how to keep a steady beat plus reading and writing music notation will help your child lay the initial groundwork for musical success for life. Social interaction, ensemble playing, listening and movement activities are still a large part of Kindermusik for the Young Child.
